Robert E. O'Connor

Robert E. 'Dutch' O'Connor, 88, died at his Springdale residence on Jan. 10, 2013. He was a Consulting Mechanical Engineer, a founder & partner in the firm O'Connor, Engle & Associates Consulting Engineers. He was an alum of Purdue University & the University of Cincinnati, a WWII US Army veteran, a member of Sigma Chi & the Northminster Presbyterian Church where he had served as Trustee & Elder. He was the beloved husband of 61 years of Audrey Knauft O'Connor, the devoted father of David L. O'Connor, Diane O'Connor Milazzo (Bill) & Susan O'Connor, the loving grandfather of Christian Goans, the beloved son of the late George & Sylvia (nee Voss) O'Connor & the dear brother of the late G. Richard O'Connor. Friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Service followed by a reception, Saturday, January 19, 11 AM, at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 703 Compton Rd., Finneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dan Beard Council Boy Scouts of America, the Alzheimer's Assn. or to Honor Flight Tri-State, c/o Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002.
