Robert D. "Bob" Reed

Robert D. “Bob” Reed, 94, passed on February 11, 2022, in Winchester, Ohio. Beloved husband of Janice (nee Irvine) Reed, loving father of Marilyn (nee Reed) Means and the late Robin (nee Reed) Rickard, dear grandfather of Dwayne Means, Robert (Cindi) Rickard, Fred (Kathy) Rickard, Molly (Gary) Nickell, survived by 12 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, dear son of the late Cora (nee Whitley) and Rollie Reed, beloved brother of the late James Reed, Jerry (nee Reed) Atkins, and Barbara “Mitzi” (nee Reed) Kahlmeyer. Robert served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked at Cincinnati, Gas, & Electric for 36 years retiring as a District Supervisor. Bob also served as a police officer in Cincinnati, Ohio, Middletown, Ohio, and Wylder, Kentucky. He was a 60 year member of the North Bend Masonic Lodge #346 and was a 33 degree Scottish Rite Freemason. Visitation will be on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Dennis George Funeral Home. Masonic Service and Funeral Service will be Friday, February 25, 2022 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
