Roxanna (Roxie) Kiefer (nee Haugh) 61, of Cleves, passed away at Christ Hospital surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 16, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Roxie was born April 11, 1951, in Bascom, OH to Jack and Barbara (Berrier) Haugh. She married Michael J. Kiefer on March 18, 1977. Roxie attended Hopewell Loudon High School in Bascom, OH. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who stayed home with her children until they reached school age, then entered the workplace. She had many hobbies and interests but her true love was working with fabric and in her herb garden. Roxie recently turned this love into a business opening a store called simplify2 on the craft website Etsy.com (Please enjoy reading the wonderful feedback from her customers). Her greatest joy in life was just letting people know how special they were and what they meant to her. She loved life and you could always tell when Roxie was in the room by her mighty laugh. Roxanna was a long time member of Cleves Presbyterian Church and served as deacon, director, historian, Sunday School teacher and currently served as church treasurer. Her passion was to keep the church vibrant and worked tirelessly to achieve this. Roxanna is survived by her beloved husband Michael; daughter, Hilary Snyder (Ryan); sons, Jeremy (Juli); Matthew (Kiri); Grandchildren, Hannah; Hayden; Jacob; Lukas; and another granddaughter due in May; parents Jack and Barbara Haugh; siblings, Nancy Metzger (John); Cynthia Ritchey (Jim); Henna Dennis (Brian); Cole Haugh (Carol); and Frank Haugh (Barb); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
