Russell L. "Jack" Rupe, 85, of Miami Heights, died at Christ Hospital on Feb. 20, 2011.
He was retired as an electrician with Proctor & Gamble, was a US Navy WWII veteran & was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
He was the beloved husband of Bertie Lou Thackston Rupe, the devoted father of Karen Gault (Gary), Kathy Ellis (Wilbert) & Janie Joerg (Rick), the loving grandfather of Jennifer & Brian; Aaron, Nathanael & Rachel; Rich & Sandy & gr. grandfather of Claire, Lauren, Drew & Charissa; Olivia, Daniel & Brady & Gavin & the dear brother of the late Richard, Kenneth, Charles & Bill Rupe; Thelma Wright, Betty Alexander & Hazel Fennell.
Visitation Thurs., Feb. 24, 5-8 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church, 8580 Cheviot Rd., where the service will be held Fri., Feb. 25 at 11 AM. Interment following in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mt. Healthy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Grace Baptist Church Printing Fund, c/o the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002.
