Ruth C. Getz

Ruth C. Getz (nee Helvey) , 93, died on July 24, 2015, at her Miami Township residence. She was a bookkeeper & a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, the Wild Wicked Women in Western Hills of the Red Hatters, the Purple Dears, Women in Construction, Meals on Wheels Volunteers, Heartland Hospice Volunteers & the Allen House-Sunshine Acres Volunteers. She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert R. Getz, the devoted mother of Alfred Charles Schumann Jr. (Theresa), Joyce Ann Fehrman (Sam), Patricia Ann Schumann & Peggy Rae Doerman (Glenn), the loving grandmother of Alfred, Eric, Heather, Holly, Carrie, Adam, Teresa, Susan, David, Troy, Matthew, Erin, Megan & Tyler, the beloved daughter of the late David & Edna (nee Scofield) Helvey & the dear sister of the late Robert Helvey. She is also survived by 26 gr. grandchildren & 7 gr. gr. grandchildren. Visitation Mon., July 27, 10 AM until time of service at 12 noon at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves.
