Samuel W. Jones

Samuel W. Jones, 90, of Harrison, died on Jan. 29, 2013 at Shawneespring of Harrison. He had worked as a lineman with Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co., was a 76th Infantry Division US Army veteran of WWII & the Battle of the Bulge & was a longtime member of the Miamitown Church of Christ. He was the beloved husband of Lois E. Lammers Lind Jones (nee Negangard), the devoted stepfather of Sue Simpson, Linda Holt-Hanlon, Jim & David Lammers, the dear brother of the late Ruth Fancher, Frank & Richard Jones & the loving uncle of Linda Guard. He is also survived by 9 step grandchildren & 6 step great grandchildren. Visitation Sat., Feb. 2, 9:30 AM until time of service at 11 AM at the Miamitown Church of Christ, 6670 State Route 128, Miamitown, OH.
