Vernon E. Steinmann

Vernon E. "Bud" Steinmann, was born on Oct. 8, 1918, in Green Township,OH, to the late Henry and Lula Martz Steinmann, and died on June 25, 2008 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills, at the age of 89 years.
He was a retired Building Contractor having worked with his father Henry in Steinmann Builder. He served in the US Army in WWII as an MP in Japan & the Phillipines and was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, the Cheviot Eagles & the Cleves Three Rivers Kiwanis Club.
He was the beloved husband of Evelyn M. Steinmann (nee Hague), the devoted father of Larry R. Steinmann & Mary Lu Sisson (Jack), the loving grandfather of Darrin Steinmann (Kimberly); Erin, Brittany & Matthew Sisson & great grandfather of Kendall, Callie & Claire Steinmann & the dear brother of the late George Steinmann (the late Laure).
Visitation Fri., June 27, 6-8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves. Funeral service Sat., June 28, 9:30 AM at Zion United Methodist Church, 4980 Zion Rd., Miami Heights (Cleves, OH 45002). Interment with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves. Luncheon at Zion Church following interment. Memorials if so desired to Zion Church.
