Walter L. Owens

Walter L. "Scamp" Owens, 76, resident of Whitewater Township & a native of Addyston, OH, died on Aug. 4 at University Hospital, Cincinnati.
He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War & worked at Kroger (where he met the love of his life) & as a driver-salesman for Interstate Brands.
He was the beloved husband of 51 yrs. to Ethel J. Younger Owens, the devoted father of Joyce Ann Gross (Steven), Walter Owens Jr. (Roxanna), John E. Owens & the late Donald Stephenson & the dear brother of Imogene Peak, Patty Lou Carl (David) & the late Harry E. Owens. Also survived by 8 grandc. & 10 gr. grandc.
Visitation Fri., Aug. 7, 7-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, where the service will be held Sat., Aug. 8 at 12:30 PM. Interment following in St. Joseph New Cemetery.
Memorials to the charity of donor's choice.
