William E. Shannon, 80, of Cleves, died at his residence on May 10, 2007. He was a salesman in Advertising, a US Navy veteran of WWII, a member of Catholic Order of Foresters, AA & American Legion Post #199.
He is survived by his wife India Diane Barger Shannon, by his siblings Charles Shannon & Amy Davis, by his step mother-in-law Marie Barger, by his brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law LaVerne & Mike Lingler, Vince & Bonnie Barger, by his nieces & nephews Lisa & Jerry Haeufle, Lori & Greg Smith, Rob & Christie Titmus, Scott & Tonya Barger, Todd & Amanda Barger, by his great nieces & nephews Stephanie, Elizabeth, Alex, Casey & Chloe & many others & by special friends Curt & Barbara Clark.
Visitation Mon., May 14, 5-7 PM, followed by the service at 7 PM, at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves. Memorials to Vitas Hospice or to "405 Oak St."
