William I. Workman

William I.Workman, 87, died at his residence in Harrison, OH on June 6, 2009. He was a former resident of Hyde Park.
He was a WWII US Army AAF veteran, had worked many years in appliance repair for Sears Roebuck and was a member of the following organizations: Fairfield Church of Christ, Am. Legion Post #199 and VFW Post #7570 both of Harrison, OH; the Williamsburg Foundation, the Military Order of Cooties, the NRA, the DAV, the Heritage Foundation & was a KY Colonel.
He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma J. Snider Workman, the devoted son of the late George & Elizabeth (Hogue) Workman & the dear brother of Eddie Mae Stephenson & the late Catherine Hill, Gladys Flickinger; Edward & Walter Workman. Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.
Visitation Wed., June 10, 10-11 AM, followed by the service at 11 AM, all at the Park View Mausoleum of Rest Haven Meml. Park, 10209 Plainfield, Evendale. Interment following, with military honors.
Memorials, if so desired, to the DAV, P.O. Box 14301, Cinti. 45250-0301.
