Woodrow "Woody" Osborne, was born on April 17, 1933 in Sanders, KY to the late Claude & Mary L. (nee Cruise) Osborne & was pronounced dead on May 22, 2008 at Mercy Hospital -Mt. Airy at the age of 75..
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retiree of the Buschman Conveyor Company. He was a member of the Miami, Colerain & Whitewater Township Senior Centers.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Ruth (nee Hess) Osborne, the devoted father of Woodrow L. "Woody" Osborne (Madawna), Claudia Sue Jones (Mitchell) & the late Karen L. & Rose Osborne, the loving grandfather of Emily N. Super, Robert C. & Karen C. Osborne & Mary Louise Jones & the dear brother of David (Martha) & George (Patty) Osborne & Shirley Beisel (Tom). Also survived by his dear friend Norma Gross, a sister-in-law Betty Hess & many nieces & nephews.
Visitation Tues., May 27, 6-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, where the service will be held Wed., May 28, at 10 AM.
Interment with military honors in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
